1.1. The use of our digital services ('Services') via our smartphone app or our web portal (collectively 'App') or voice systems /eg. Amazon Alexa or Siri Shortcuts/ (collectively called ‘Smart Assistants’) in connection with your intelligent robotic vacuum cleaner ('Robot') and the services offered via the App is subject to the following data protection information. The Services and the App are an offering by Romy, which is a brand of Robart GmbH, Friedhofstraße 4, 4020 Linz, Austria, email: office@robart.cc as Controller in the sense of Article 4 General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR'). 1.2. Protecting your personal data is important to us, especially as regards the protection of your right of personality in processing and using this information. Below you can find information regarding the collection of your personal data when you use our services. Personal data is all data which can be connected to you personally, such as your name, address, email address(es) and user behavior.

Usage data of our Services and App and the Smart Assistants include information on your use of our App, the Smart Assistants and Services, such as duration of use of our App, the Smart Assistants and Services, and functions of the App, the Smart Assistants or Services used.
Like all web services, our server automatically and temporarily collects End Device Data in server logfiles, unless you deactivate this. If you wish to view our App, we collect End Device Data which is technically necessary for us, in order to display our App correctly and ensure its stability and security. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you share your master data with us via our App when registering, in your profile or via our contact form, this is done generally and on a voluntary basis. This data is used to execute the contractual relationship, process your re- quests/orders and for our own market or opinion research and for our own marketing by post and email. Further use, in particular disclosure of data to third parties for marketing, market or opinion research purposes, does not occur. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
When you register via our App to use our Services or the Smart Assistants, we collect your master data in order to execute the contractual relationship. If you incorporate a Robot into your profile, the technical data transmitted by your Robot will be linked with your profile. The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR.
We also process your master data and App usage data as well as technical data in order to improve our offering, for needs-based marketing for our products and for product improvement and development. The legal basis for the pro- cessing of the user's personal data is the execution of the relevant contract (Article 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR) as well as the legitimate interests of Robart (Article 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR).
We may also process the data you submit in order to inform you on other interesting products from our portfolio or to send you emails with technical information.
In general, connecting the Robot to the internet facilitates bidirectional exchange of data and thus continual remote access to data for the efficient control and management of the Robot.
Technical data is only linked with a user profile when the user incorporates a Robot. If the technical data refer to a person in the sense of Article 4(1) GDPR, we will process the data for the provision of the contractual services in connection with the use of the Services by the user. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We reserve the right to use the technical and usage data, especially for statistical purposes and for further development of products. This also applies if the user ceases to use the App, the Smart Assistants or Services.
The data processed by us will be erased in accordance with the statutory provisions as soon as their processing is revoked or other permissions no longer apply (e.g. if the purpose of processing this data no longer applies or they are not required for the purpose). If the data is not deleted because they are required for other and legally permissible purposes, their processing is limited to these purposes. This means that the data will be restricted and not processed for other purposes. This applies, for example, to data that must be stored for commercial or tax reasons or for which storage is necessary to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person. User can delete all the data by deleting user account via the app.
If you have shared personal data with us, we do not generally disclose this data to third parties. Disclosure will only occur within the scope
Your personal data will only be used for as long as this is necessary for the existing customer relationship. Regardless of this, we are obliged by the requirements of commercial and tax law to store your address, payment and order data for a period of ten years.
